Your health and safety have always been, and continue to be, our highest priorities. Visit our online resource center to find helpful information from our expert physicians about steps you can take to prevent the spread of the virus and what to do if you suspect you have it.
As COVID-19 continues to impact Illinois and Wisconsin, Advocate Aurora Health remains at the forefront of the response. We are grateful to our more than 70,000 physicians, nurses and team members for their heroic efforts to provide our patients and communities with compassionate, safe and quality care during this pandemic.
Donate funds to support our heroes
The impact across our communities and within our health system is extraordinary as we continue to battle this pandemic. This collective experience has highlighted longstanding disparities and revealed new opportunities to innovate care.
Philanthropy plays a critical role throughout the response, enabling Advocate Aurora leadership to procure and deploy resources in real time. Gifts to the Relief Fund for Critical Care make it possible to bridge resource gaps and launch new initiatives to meet the myriad health needs of our patients. We also have a Team Member Crisis Fund that will be used to assist team members who are financially impacted by COVID-19.
As always, 100% of your gift will be used for this purpose, plus there are additional donor incentives within the CARES Act.
We’re so grateful to everyone who has already donated. Learn how your gifts are making a significant impact here.
Some heroes wear capes. Our heroes wear scrubs. Thank you from Advocate Aurora Health.
Your incredible impact
Because of your generosity, more than $4 million has been raised to help our team members, patients and their families during the COVID-19 pandemic. Learn more.
As COVID-19 continues to impact our communities, we are committed to keeping our heroes – our doctors, nurses and team members – safe. As you know, the broader health care community is at risk of running low on critical personal protective equipment (PPE) across the country. Health care workers need these essential safety items on the frontline of this pandemic to effectively provide care. We are currently accepting the following items:
- Hand sanitizer – Personal sized hand sanitizer that has been unopened. CDC guidelines encourage sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol composition
- Disinfectant wipes – All brands of unopened premoistened wipes are accepted
- Unused scrubs
If you have questions or are unsure if your item qualifies please contact COVIDAAHSupplyDonations@aurora.org. Drop off items at your local Advocate Aurora Health hospital at the shipping and receiving dock.
Thank you for playing an important part in keeping our team members and community safe.

Additional ways to help
Offers of support
Do you have other ways to support our doctors, nurses and team members? While the only supplies being accepted at this time are referenced above, we do encourage you to complete this form and provide as much detail about your donation/offer as possible. We are grateful for all offers of support but need to make sure the safety of our community and our physicians, nurses and team members remain our top priority.
All submissions will be reviewed, and a member of the Advocate Charitable Foundation will follow up in regard to next steps.
Our patients and communities need our help to replenish the blood centers that serve our hospitals. In response to COVID-19, more than 80% of community blood drives have been cancelled, however all blood types will continue to be in demand now and in the weeks and months ahead. The American Red Cross will support our patient’s needs and they have established a COVID-19 screening process, social distancing precautions and cleaning protocols to keep donors safe.
