When we launched our Health Lives Here campaign in 2018, we could not have imagined where we’d be in 2020 – in the midst of a global pandemic that’s affecting so many across the world and in our own backyard. But our donors have stepped up in big ways, and we are so grateful.
Many donors, like UnitedOne Credit Union, have generously supported both our capital campaign and our COVID-19 relief efforts.
“We supported the capital campaign for the new hospital because UnitedOne Credit Union understands the importance of high-quality health care that is close to home,” said Michael Farley, Marketing Director. “The current pandemic caught most of us by surprise, both with its speed and its impact on our lives. We need to rally around each other to pull through this, and one small way we can help is to provide support to positive causes that are making an impact right here in our community.”
Sheboygan Chevrolet Chrysler is another loyal donor that worked with a local restaurant to provide lunch for team members. “Now more than ever we need to support the community that supports us,” said Tina Schmidt, Operations Manager at Sheboygan Auto Group. “It’s important that we all stand together.”
Kohler Co., Tweet Garot and Jos. Schmitt & Sons Construction are also strong supporters of both the Health Lives Here campaign and our COVID-19 relief efforts. Kohler Co. recently donated 500 face shields to help protect team members during the pandemic.
Our friends at Brilliant Lightscapes painted wooden hearts and placed them along the road leading up to the hospital. And First Presbyterian Church – Oostburg donated meals to the hospital and hosted a park and pray to bring our community together during these uncertain times.
Every gesture of support has touched our hearts. Thank you for standing with us during these uncertain times. For helpful information from our experts and to learn about ways to support our frontline teams, our patients and their families, please visit our online resource center.
